Where are you located? 

 

We are located in Apex, NC but will travel to just about any part of Triangle area and surrounding areas.

How would you describe your photography style? 

 

I love authentic images that are filled with emotion. I love bright colors and warm sunshine. I seek out genuine moments that make me FEEL something.  Most photos are lightly posed, we will help you get into a good position, but then we will encourage interaction and real expression while we snap.  We want you to have a real memory that will be vivid and last forever.

Do you have a studio? Where will my session take place? 

 

We do have an in-home studio, but love to use the great outdoors.  Please see our Suggested Venues page as well for some ideas of where we like to hold sessions. 

 

What should I bring to the session?

 

The following is recommended for most shoots. 

 

 - Drinks, as most shoots are outdoors. 

 - Favorite toys for any little ones. 

 - Wardrobe changes.

 - Any items you want to incorporate in your session.

 - SMILES!

What should I wear to the Session?

 

Try to wear something simple and avoid busy patterns or logos.  If you are with Family or a couple, try to have coordinating colors since this is always pleasing in pictures.  If you will have a wardrobe change please come in the more formal outfit and then change into anything that may be more comfortable.

What happens if it rains or is too cold?

​

We will always call a few days before your session to confirm and talk about the possibility of bad weather.  If we need to change the date of the session, this is always an option, and we will work with you to get a good time for everyone. 

 

I saw some pictures online and Pinterest, can we get these shots? 

 

We love to hear what kind of pictures you are looking for, but please remember that we want to make the session about you are your family.  So Pinterest is a great start for ideas but we will be sure to showcase your family.

Do I get every picture you take?

 

Unfortunately we do not give all of the unedited photos to you, nor do we post them for viewing.  We will select all the photos that best showcase you and your family and add them to your "Client Proof" page. This page is created for you to view and select your favorites to include in your digital package.  This number may be over the number of digital prints included in your package so we will ask you to choose your maximum number or upgrade for a small fee, see our prints page for these prices.

 

Can I bring someone with me to my session? 

 

Yes, we encourage, especially for Senior/ Graduation sessions, that you bring anyone who will make the session more comfortable for you.

Do you edit your photos?

 

Yes we use Photoshop and Lightroom to make minor adjustments to the photos.  We want to keep the authenticity to the images so your can remember the day forever. In special circumstances, mostly for newborn session, we will use Digital Backgrounds to enhance the picture. 

 

When will I get to see my pictures?

 

Please allow us 3-5 weeks and we will email you when they are ready. This email will have a password to access your "Client Proof" section of the site and then you can share this with family and friends. This section will be available on our site for up to 4 weeks depending on the number of proofs. After this time, you can contact us if you need to have access again for any reason.

Ok, We are ready to book, what next?

​

We can't wait to work with you! Please send us a message here, and we'll come up with a game plan for your session. After that, you'll be able to sign your contract and submit your session deposits online if your session requires one. Most sessions require payment due on the day of your session.

 

We also ask new clients to fill out a few forms to make sure we capture everything you want and it helps us get to know you a little better.
